Occupation: HE lecturer in Acting at Newcastle college and a post-doctoral researcher on trans rights.

Why did you want to get involved with DETENTION?
I am thrilled to be involved in Detention as a 54 year old Gay man who was there when Section 28 was being considered and passed, as well as being at the Manchester rally. This project is so important to me to give voice to the history, protests and losses of the LGBTQI+ community as a result of Section 28 and it’s legacy.
