Why did you want to get involved with DETENTION?
Section 28 coincided with my own coming out and the marches and protests against it and for LGBT rights were an important part of finding community whilst striving for equality.
What a unique and amazing opportunity this is to perform alongside incredible professional dancers – quite dizzying!
To retell such an important chapter in LGBT history which needs to be remembered, seen and heard and i’m just so excited to be part of DETENTION to do just that!!
