Hometown: I was born in Harrow, grew up in Kettering and now live in Oxford.
Occupation: I have worked in higher education for most of my career, supporting students. My current role is inclusive Support Senior Advisor.

Why did you want to get involved with DETENTION?
I grew up under Section 28, which had a huge impact on me being in fear to explore my identity, repressing my true self, and altering the course of my life. LGBTQ+ youth still need our support, as the government erodes any progress that has been made since. My involvement with DETENTION is a way for me to protest, show solidarity, and continue to support the rights of the LGBTQ+ community.
